SBU bans Russian comedian Poperechny from entering Ukraine for 3 years
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) did not allow comedian Danila Poperechny, who on May 18 was supposed to perform with a concert in Kyiv, to enter the country and banned him from entering Ukraine for a period of three years. "Poperechny has been banned from entering Ukraine since April 12, 2018 for 3 years," the SBU told the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Tuesday morning.
However, the Civil Movement 'Vіdsіch' (Rebuff) said on Facebook that the reason was the anti-Ukrainian position of the artist. It is noted that the blogger was caught in support of Russian politics in Ukraine, in particular, the occupation of Crimea.
