Poroshenko, Borisov agree on preparations for EU-Ukraine summit
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has discussed preparations for the EU-Ukraine summit with Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, according to a report posted on the website of the head of state on Thursday.
"The Ukrainian president and the Bulgarian prime minister [at a meeting in Aachen in Germany on Thursday] coordinated preparations for the EU-Ukraine summit," reads the report.
Poroshenko also invited Borisov to pay a visit to Ukraine.
On May 9, in Aachen, Poroshenko and European Council President Donald Tusk agreed to hold the 20th EU-Ukraine summit in Brussels in the summer of 2018.
Poroshenko is on a visit to Germany on May 9-10.
Bulgaria has presided over the European Union since January 1, 2018.
