Ukraine's Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on May 2, 2018, begins a visit to Great Britain, Ukraine's Embassy in the UK said on its web page on Wednesday.
The announcement says Lutsenko will hold a number of meetings with British officials in the Foreign Office, as well as with law-enforcement officials of England and Wales. The visit will include meetings in both Houses of Great Britain's parliament, including with the head of the British Friendship Group with Ukraine.
Lutsenko is also expected to hold a meeting with British experts at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs. He is also expected to give interviews to British media.
Reform of Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) and its cooperation with other law-enforcement agencies battling corruption, including returning assets and property of corrupt officials and other crimes, as well as cooperation under the bilateral agreement on mutual legal assistance, will also be discussed.
