ATO HQ press center in Donbas terminates activities
The press center of the headquarters of the anti-terrorist operations (ATO) in Donbas on April 30, 2018 ceases its activities in connection with the reformatting of the operation in Donbas.
"Today, on April 30, 2018, the press center of the ATO headquarters ceases its activities," the press center said on Facebook.
The ATO management and the press center staff thank mass media for cooperation in covering the events in Donbas.
As reported, on April 13, 2018 President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced the transformation of the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine into the operation of the joint forces on April 30 this year.
On April 23 Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak confirmed that the anti-terrorist operation in Donbas will end on April 30 and a new format will begin under the leadership of the joint forces.
