The fire that broke out in one of the tallest buildings in Baku known as the Trump Tower has been extinguished, an Interfax correspondent has reported.
The fire occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Six units of firefighters worked on extinguishing the fire.
The Emergency Situations Ministry has not reported on the cause of the fire and casualties yet.
According to media reports, the fire began on the upper floor of the building, but the fire later spread to floors 13-20 of the building.
Emergency Situations Ministry officials led by Emergency Situations Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov are on site.
The 33-storey building, which was earlier called the Trump Tower, is a 130-meter high tower, which is one of the five highest buildings in Azerbaijan.
The words "Trump Tower" were removed from the name of the building after Donald Trump was elected president of the United States in 2016.
