Four Ukrainian soldiers wounded in action in Donbas since Thursday midnight

Four Ukrainian soldiers have been wounded in 21 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, as of 18:00 Kyiv time on Thursday, April 26, the press center for the headquarters (HQ) of Ukraine's military operations in Donbas has reported.

"Four Ukrainian defenders were wounded in action. The wounded soldiers were hospitalized, they received the necessary treatment," the press center said in an update on Facebook as of 18:00 local time on Thursday, April 26.

In the Donetsk sector, the occupation forces used proscribed weapons, namely 120mm mortars, as well as cannons of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, small arms to attack Ukrainian positions near the village of Novotroitske.

What is more, the enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near the village of Lebedynske, while grenade launchers of various systems and small arms were used to fire on areas near the towns of Avdiyivka and Maryinka, and the village of Kamianka.

Also, enemy fighters resorted to large-caliber machine guns to mount attacks on the villages of Nevelske and Talakivka, while small arms were used near the villages of Lomakyne and Opytne. Positions near the village of Novomykhailivka were under sniper fire.

"In the Luhansk sector, the occupation forces used banned 120mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns and an anti-tank rifle to shell our positions near the village of Zaitseve," the HQ said.
