Two members of Nord crew manage to leave Ukraine with passports issued by Russian diplomats

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports that at about 6:00 on Thursday twoUkrainian citizens, members of the seiner Nord team, deceitfully left Ukraine for Belarus, providing documents of Russiancitizens at the passport control issued in the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the city of Kharkiv.

"At the Zhuliany airport [Kyiv], two Russian citizens registered for the flight to Belarus, who presented at the passport control documents of the citizens of the Russian Federation, issued in the consulate general of the Russian Federation in Kharkiv. Since the Ukrainian side is by no means recognizes the documents issued by the Russian occupation authorities in Crimea, but this does not apply to documents issued by official diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine and, since the spelling of the names of citizens in Russian passports differs from the identification data of Ukrainian citizens -members of Nord crew, which were contained in the databases, these citizens were allowed to pass the border and fly toBelarus," the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Thursday afternoon.
