Germany will allocate a grant to Ukraine amounting to EUR 9 million for Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) housing, the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (UFSI) has announced.
"The money will be spent on creating housing for IDPs in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia regions, as well as territories under Ukraine's control in Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the press service said.
Ukraine's Social Policy Minister Andriy Reva is scheduled to sign an agreement on the funds on April 19 along with UFSI Executive Director Andriy Laktionov and head of the infrastructure division of KfW Bank Marion Kneesch.
Following the signing ceremony, German assistance plans in Ukraine will be discussed.
