Groysman calls for creation of fund on construction of Holodomor Victims Memorial
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has called for the creation of the fund on the construction of the National Museum "Holodomor Victims Memorial" and a supervisory board.
"It is necessary that, on the one hand, there should be a share of the state and, on the other hand, there should be a contribution of every Ukrainian. Therefore, it is necessary to create a construction fund so as to attract all those who are not indifferent [to this issue]," the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers quoted Groysman as saying at a special meeting on Monday.
In addition, according to him, it is necessary to create a supervisory board and elect its head, who "will have the confidence of all citizens."
"We will conduct audits (of all processes) online so that everyone sees how much money is spent and on what it is spent, so that there are no delays in construction work," Groysman added.
According to the premier, the museum will be fully formed in three years.
