OSCE SMM reports 10% reduction in ceasefire violations – Hug
Observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) report a ten percent reduction in ceasefire violations in Donbas, Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE SMM has said.
"The number of violations last week decreased by 10%, compared to a week and a half ago," Hug said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.
Hug said 95% of violations occur in four districts. He added that Russian occupation forces have deployed a large number of weapons in the southeastern part of Luhansk, a violation of ceasefire conditions.
According to the OSCE SMM official, little progress has been made in demining activities.
