Rada fires Gontareva from post of NBU head

The Verkhovna Rada has supported the motion submitted by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to dismiss Valeriya Gontareva from the post of head of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Corresponding decision on Gontareva's resignation was supported by 342 MPs at the plenary session of the parliament on Thursday, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
