Donetsk water filtration station has resumed work after the power supply was restored, the head of the Donetsk regional civil and military administration, Pavlo Zhebrivsky, has said.
Water filters were being cleaned on Saturday afternoon and the station was supposed to start its normal operation at full capacity, Zhebrivsky said earlier.
Chairman of Avdiyivka's civil and military administration Pavlo Malykhin said that the water is now supplied without interruption and all spare reservoirs have completely been filled.
The station was re-launched at 15:00 on Saturday and now works at full capacity.
As was reported, the water filtration station suspended work because of a short circuit as a result of shelling in Donbas.
The station supplies water to the town of Avdiyivka and nearby villages. It partly provides water to the occupied areas, namely the city of Donetsk and the town in Yasynuvata in Donetsk region.
