Two law enforcers injured, nine protesters detained after clashes near Rada
Two law enforcers were injured, nine protesters were detained as a result of skirmishes near the building of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday morning, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the People's Front Party faction Anton Gerashchenko has said.
"The criminal organization of Saakashvili "New Forces Movement" has organized a provocation just now in front of the Verkhovna Rada building. Tires were rolled up to the building of the Verkhovna Rada and tried to set on fire. When the police officers did not allow do this, they started pelting stones at them. Two police officers were injured 15 minutes ago, one has a broken collar bone," Gerashchenko said from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
