Key personnel issue in Rada this week is NBU's head election – Parubiy
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine will consider the election of a new head of the National Bank of Ukraine on this plenary week, speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, Andriy Parubiy, has said.
"The key personnel issue of this week is the issue of electing the head of the National Bank," Parubiy said at a meeting of the conciliatory council of the leaders of factions, committees and groups in Kyiv on Monday.
On Wednesday, according to the speaker, the Rada may begin consideration of the issue on business ombudsmen.
In addition, parliamentarians should include a bill on the Anti-Corruption Court in the agenda of the parliament.
"There is an important law on the Anticorruption Court on the agenda, and in order for the committee [the Verkhovna Rada's special committee] to proceed to its consideration, it is very important that we include it in the agenda of the session," the speaker said.
