Border guard killed during practice fire in Lviv region

 A serviceman of the border commandant of the rapid response of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service in Lviv region was killed during the training shooting on Thursday, the press service of the frontier department has reported.

"On this fact, the border department has immediately informed the military prosecutor's office, the National Police in Lviv region and other cooperating structures. The investigative group is conducting urgent investigative actions at the time," the message said on Thursday.

The circumstances of the border guard's death were not reported in the State Border Guard Service.
