'Heavenly Hundred' lawyer convinced story about Georgian snipers on Maidan is another 'myth'
The presence of so-called Georgian snipers on Maidan is one of the myths connected with the Revolution of Dignity, lawyer for Heavenly Hundred heroes and wounded on Maidan Pavlo Dykan has said.
"In Kyiv's Sviatoshynsky District Court there are many ongoing attempts to include dubious unsupported information, for example, the myth about Georgian snipers…," Dykan told the Kyiv-based Interfax-Ukraine news agency.
Dykan said there are many myths about what happened on February 20, 2014 on Maidan. He acknowledged, however, that policemen were killed. He said their deaths are being investigated.
Dykan also said he has no information about the involvement of Russian special forces in shootings on Maidan.
