Turchynov denies ordering to shoot helicopter with Yanukovych on board
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, acting President of Ukraine from February 23 to June 7, 2014, Oleksandr Turchynov, has said he didn't give the order to shoot down a helicopter used by ex President Viktor Yanukovych to fly from Kharkiv on February 22.
"No, I did not give such orders or instructions," he said, answering an appropriate question from the prosecutor during the testimony in the Obolonsky district court of Kyiv on the case of Viktor Yanukovych's state treason.
