Court releases Odesa mayor Trukhanov against guarantee of MP Holubov

Solomiansky District Court of Kyiv hasn't granted the motion of anti-corruption authorities to arrest Mayor of Odesa Hennadiy Trukhanov with an alternative of UAH 50 million and released him against guarantees of MP Dmytro Holubov.

"To refuse in response to the motion of the detective from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. To immediately release a suspect Hennadiy Leonidovych Trukhanov from the courtroom," the court's decision reads.

The court ordered the guarantor to ensure the appearance of the suspect in the investigative bodies.

Holubov was elected to the parliament by the majority district No. 136 in Odesa region. He is a member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction.
