Rabinovych says Nice court arrests two residences belonging to Liovochkin family
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deputy (Opposition Bloc) Vadym Rabinovych has said a court in Nice, France has arrested property belonging to MP Serhiy Liovochkin (Opposition Bloc) and his family.
"The French court of the city of Nice, which, at the request of Ukrainian parliament deputy Vadym Rabinovych, has arrested the Liovochkin family estates there. These estates … the first is valued at EUR 40 million and the second – EUR 10 million," Rabinovych said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
Rabinovych said the French court, unfortunately, not a Ukrainian one, understood that Liovochkin, who has never worked in business and who become wealthy as head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration under disgraced ex-President Viktor Yanukovych, cannot afford a residence worth UAH 2 billion.
Serhiy Liovochkin is a Ukrainian politician and millionaire. He is a parliament deputy of the sixth and seventh convocations. Liovchkin worked as Yanukovych's chief of staff from 2010 to 2014.
