Ukrainian citizen detained in Simferopol airport for collecting state secrets

MOSCOW. Feb 12 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Security Service has reported the detention in Simferopol of a citizen of Ukraine who collected and provided to the Ukrainian special services information on the activities of Russian Guard and Federal Security Service units.
"Ukrainian citizen Kostiantyn Davydenko was detained in Simferopol by Federal Security Service officials on February 11. He purposefully collected and provided to the Ukrainian special services information on the activities of units of the Federal Security Service and the Russian National Guard and information on Russian Federal Security Service, which constitutes a state secret," the Federal Security Service public relations center told Interfax on Monday.
"A data leak abroad could have hurt the security of the state," the Federal Security Service public relations center said.
