Saakashvili at Kyiv hotel, people introducing themselves as Border Service officials gone
Leader of the Movement of New Forces and former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili is currently at the Fairmont Grand Hotel Kyiv, and the people who earlier appeared there and introduced themselves as State Border Service officials have left the hotel, Saakashvili's associate and unaffiliated parliamentarian Yuriy Derevyanko said.
"No investigative activities can be conducted on private territory without a court order," Derevyanko said. "They introduced themselves to hotel staff as State Border Service officials," Derevyanko told journalists near the hotel on Friday.
These people first asked the activists who had gathered nearby not to leave their cars and not to do anything, Derevyanko said. As the number of activists started growing, these people "gathered together and left," he said.
"Saakashvili is currently at the hotel," Derevyanko said.
