OSCE Commissioner Zanier confirms the need to study state language by all citizens of Ukraine
OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zanier during his visit to Uzhgorod (Zakarpattia region) confirmed the understanding of the need to learn the state language by all citizens of Ukraine while preserving the right to learn the languages of the national minorities, said Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar.
"The visit to Uzhgorod started with a meeting with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Zanier. The High Commissioner clearly confirmed the understanding of the need to learn the state language by all citizens of Ukraine while preserving the right to learn the languages of the national minorities," he wrote on his Twitter page on Tuesday.
