Saakashvili supporters rally on Kyiv's European Square following march
Participants in the March for the Future criticizing Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and the current administration, which was organized by the party New Forces Movement led by Georgia's ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili, ended their march on the European Square in central Kyiv, where a rally has begun.
A column composed of some 6,000-7,000 people went from Shevchenko Park along the streets Volodymyrska, Mykhailivska and Khreschatyk, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported. In the course of the march, the protesters chanted slogans calling for the resignation of the incumbent president and criticizing the authorities.
Speakers supporting Saakashvili made speeches from a podium erected on the square.
