Ukraine's Foreign Ministry launches service of voluntary registration of Ukrainians while traveling abroad
The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine has established the 'Friend' service for the voluntary registration of Ukrainian citizens who travel abroad.
"The purpose of the service is to provide compatriots with brief information about the country in which the trip is planned, to warn about possible disasters that have occurred or are likely to occur in the country, and if necessary, speed up the search and assist Ukrainians abroad," the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said on its Facebook page on Friday.
As noted in the message, the mobile application 'Friend' shows the nearest foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine when shifting to the 'World map' section. And the 'Countries' section informs about the country's peculiarities, customs rules, cultural and religious features, security level.
