Klimkin, Alfano visit checkpoint in Donetsk region

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and his Italian counterpart Angelino Alfano have visited the checkpoint in the village of Pyshchevyk (part of the Pavlopilsky rural council of Volnovakhsky district of Donetsk region).

"Klimkin and Alfano visited the checkpoint in Pyshchevyk, where up to 4,000 people cross the contact line every day. The Ukrainian foreign minister told his Italian counterpart about the situation in this village and Shyrokyne," the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry informed that the foreign ministers of Ukraine and Italy departed to Dnipro, after which they would go to Donbas.

Italy began chairing the OSCE on January 1, 2018.
