Normandy Four FMs could meet during Munich conference
A meeting of the foreign ministers of the Normandy Four states, namely France, Germany, Russia, and Ukraine, could take place as part of the Munich Security Conference on February 16, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said.
"We're working as part of the Normandy format. According to our preliminary agreement, [German Foreign Minister] Sigmar Gabriel offered to hold the next Normandy format ministerial meeting during the Munich Security Conference on [February] 16," Klimkin said at a joint press conference with Italian Foreign Minister Angelino Alfano in Kyiv on Tuesday.
"During this meeting, if, of course, Russia agrees to it, we will consult exactly on security issues, releasing our hostages and political prisoners and notifying Russia that there is no reasonable alternative to an actual peacekeeping mission in the territory of occupied Donbas," Klimkin said.
