U.S., Ukrainian Armed Forces with another more than 10 NATO countries start preparations for multi-national drills Rapid Trident-2018

 In Lviv region, the Ukrainian and U.S. military have begun planning the multinational military drills Rapid Trident-2018, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has reported.

"The planning of the largest joint land exercises of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the army units of foreign states Rapid Trident-2018 has begun. The representatives of the command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces and the military training mission of the U.S. Armed Forces were involved in the initial planning conference," the General Staff said on Facebook on Monday.

The planning also includes military personnel from Great Britain and the Canadian Armed Forces, as well as army officers from more than ten NATO member countries and partner countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.

"During the week, the conference participants will work on developing and working out of joint documents that will regulate the conduct of each stage of future exercises," the message says.
