U.S. expands sanctions list against Russia due to Ukraine situation
The U.S. has expanded the sanctions list against Russia because of the situation in Ukraine, the U.S. Treasury Department has said.
The list includes 21 individuals.
The U.S. Treasury published two lists of companies, in which there are 21 organizations.
Among the individuals who fall under the restrictions of the U.S. Treasury are Deputy Energy Minister Andrey Tcherezov, Director of the Department of Operational Control and Management in the Electric Power Industry Evgeny Grabchak.
Director General of Limited Liability Company Foreign Economic Association Technopromexport Sergey Topor-Gilka was also included in the list.
Among blacklisted business entities were those cooperating with Surgutneftegas, e.g. Power Machines Company, Rostec Technology company, and Technopromexport Engineering company.
