Turchynov discusses topical issues of security, defense sector with military experts

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, at a meeting with Ukrainian military experts, discussed the issues of reforming the security and defense sector.

They also exchanged views on the law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the peculiarities of state policy on ensuring state sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the draft law on national security of Ukraine approved by the National Security and Defense Council, the press service of the National Security and Defense Council reported on Friday.

In addition, the meeting paid attention to intensifying the fight against corruption in the security and defense sector, creating a unified platform for systematizing information on the methods of conducting a hybrid war and corresponding counteraction.
