Poroshenko convinced Ukraine to receive EU membership prospect in 2021
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that Ukraine will get the prospect of membership in the European Union in 2021.
"I am absolutely convinced that after the wave of populism of Euro skeptics, everything will be fine. The only thing that will change in 2021 is that Ukraine, with the support of Poland and Lithuania, will get a prospect of membership in the European Union," Poroshenko said at a panel discussion of the World Economic Forum in Davos on Friday (broadcasting and interpreting of Channel 5).
In addition, the president stressed the need for unity of the European Union and other democratic countries. "The basis for our unity is our values, not money," he said.
"I am absolutely convinced that we will win the propaganda war, the information war, and the hybrid war, because the truth is on our side," Poroshenko said.
