Poroshenko, Volker discuss Donbas situation

 United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko have discussed ways of boosting international efforts for restoring Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Ukrainian presidential press service said.

The sides expressed concern about the lack of progress in Russia's fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements, the press service said.

Poroshenko and Volker welcomed the release of Ukrainian hostages late last year.

They also noted the priority of a peaceful politico-diplomatic method of settling the Donbas situation.
