Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said he agreed with his Polish counterpart Jacek Czaputowicz to hold a meeting in late February.
"We will talk with our Polish friends on the basis of our friendly relations. That's how we need to stop various speculations and politicization of this issue [of historical disagreements]," he said in Kyiv on Monday at a press conference on the results of the Ukrainian diplomacy in 2017 and priorities for 2018.
Klimkin also said: "Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rosenko will visit Warsaw in mid-February. He will talk with Poland's culture minister about how to remove some tension with regard to these issues."
"I agreed with the Polish foreign minister about our meeting. I also hope it will take place in late February. There are many things to talk about, including about the Security Council," he added.
