Ukraine ready to give tough rebuff to aggressor in event of attempted offensive – Poroshenko
Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor feels strong support from international partners and is ready to give a tough rebuff in case of an attempt of an offensive, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.
"I want to say that Ukraine is ready to give a tough military response to the aggressor in the event of its attempt to launch an offensive," Poroshenko said at a solemn meeting on the occasion of the Unity Day and the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of the Ukrainian People's Republic in Kyiv on Monday.
He noted that in the fight against the aggressor - Russia - Ukraine feels "strong support from international partners."
According to the president, this is a positive difference in the current situation from the one that was 100 years ago.
