No casualties reported among 2 attacks on Ukrainian army positions
Russia's hybrid military forces have attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas twice in the past 24 hours, with no Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed or wounded in action, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) headquarters has reported.
"The ceasefire lasted along the contact line almost the whole day. However, late at night, at about 23:00 Kyiv time, the Russian occupation troops could not resist resorting to a provocation and violated the Minsk agreements. Over the past day, militants shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine twice. As a result of shelling, during the past day, no Ukrainian defender was injured," the report says.
In particular, in the Luhansk sector, the enemy used heavy mortars at the Svitlodarska Duha bulge. Militants fired 120mm mortars and heavy machine guns twice on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the village of Luhanske from the temporarily uncontrolled villages of Nyzhnie Lozove and Kalynivka.
No ceasefire violations have been recorded in other sectors of the Ukrainian defense lines.
