Ukraine, Canada agree on agenda to support Ukraine
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said Ukraine and Canada have agreed on an agenda and priority areas of Canadian support to Ukraine.
"Canada plays an important role in the G7 and this year will chair the group. I am very happy we found with our Canadian partners the agenda and areas which will be a priority for the Canadian side," Poroshenko said in Lviv on Thursday after a meeting with Canada's Governor General Julie Payette.
Poroshenko thanked Canada for its consistent support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity since the start of Russian aggression.
