Ukraine, Romania to develop document on implementation of education law's language article
Ukraine and Romania have agreed to develop a joint document on the implementation of the language article of the new Ukrainian law "On Education," the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
"The foreign ministers discussed the topical issues on the agenda of the Ukrainian-Romanian interstate relations. The parties reached an agreement to develop a joint document on the implementation of the new law of Ukraine" On Education," in particular Article 7 thereof, concerning the use of languages in the educational process," the press service of the Foreign Ministry said in its statement on Friday.
As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and his Romanian counterpart Teodor Viorel Meleşcanu held a meeting in Chernivtsi on January 11 and gave a press conference for the media.
