Protesters against changes in customs regulations have stopped a rally near the Shehyni-Medyka crossing point on the border with Poland, the press service of the patrol police department in Lviv region has reported.
"The traffic in Shehyni resumed, and protesters dispersed," reads the report.
Protest rallies are still ongoing near two other checkpoints in Lviv region - Krakivets-Korczowa and Rava-Ruska-Hrebenne.
As reported, on Wednesday morning, citizens dissatisfied with changes in customs legislation regarding the rules for transporting goods across the border, which entered into force on January 1, 2018, blocked the roads leading to three border checkpoints in Lviv region, as well as the Yahodyn checkpoint in Volyn region.
