UK to continue to support Ukraine in 2018 in reforms and fight against Russia
The United Kingdom will continue to support Ukraine in 2018 in conducting reforms and counteracting destabilizing actions on the part of Russia, the British Embassy in Ukraine has reported.
"Good to see FM Gabriel in Ukraine highlighting both Russian destabilisation and the need to press ahead with internal reforms. In 2018, the UK will continue to focus on both these issues as part of our ongoing support to Ukraine," the embassy reported in its Twitter microblog on Friday.
As reported, on January 3, 2018, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel was on a visit to Kyiv. However, Gabriel could not attend the contact line in Donbas on Thursday, January 4, due to fog.
