Canada to talk about Russian aggression until Ukraine's territories are freed - Freeland
Canada will not stop talking about the unacceptability of Russian aggression against Ukraine as long as the occupation of Ukrainian territories continues, Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland has said.
"We recognize, and we talk about this everywhere, that Russia is an aggressor, that Russian aggression against Ukraine is unacceptable for the international community. We will not stop talking about this until Russia is the occupier of Ukraine," Freeland said at celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian diplomacy in Kyiv on Friday.
She also said that Canada stood side by side with Ukraine.
"Canada stands side by side with Ukraine. We believe in the importance of Ukrainian sovereignty, Ukrainian borders, Ukrainian territory," Freeland added.
