Russia may consider returning to JCCC in Donbas on certain conditions - Peskov
Russia may return to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) if provocational actions by Kyiv against the Russian military stop, Russian presidential press officer Dmitry Peskov said.
"The issue was indeed discussed yesterday in a phone conversation between Putin and Merkel. Like we said after the conversation, Putin said we may consider such a possibility if we can have guaranteed understanding that the provocational actions by Kyiv on our military will stop and that they will be able to and will have conditions for fulfilling their functions," Peskov said, responding to a question on what conditions Russia is ready to return to the JCCC.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's proposal to include in the JCCC French and German officers "is subject to everyone's approval," he said.
