Ukraine may open new consulate general in Canada in 2018 - Klimkin
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has said that Ukraine may open a new consulate general in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 2018.
"We must develop our presence in Canada, and today we talked about the possibility of opening our joint consulate in Edmonton next year," he said at a joint press conference with Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland in Kyiv on Thursday.
Klimkin noted that it will take several months to complete the preparatory work.
"Ukraine should be present in Canada everywhere, we talked about launching a direct flight," the minister said.
