U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman has said the territorial integrity of Ukraine needs to be restored in order to improve the Russian-American relations.
"You don't need to ask the American ambassador to get a clear answer on this one, because it's a pretty simple function of international law: Crimea is Ukraine. As part of finding a new normal for the U.S.-Russia relationship, Ukraine and restoring territorial integrity of Ukraine will be absolutely critical in terms of getting us there," the ambassador said in a video posted on the Twitter account of the U.S. Embassy in Russia, when answering a question "Whose is Crimea?"
