Ukrainian movie 'Cyborgs' sets box-office record in first weekend
The Ukrainian-produced film "Cyborgs" has set a box-office record in its first weekend among Ukrainian films, having earned UAH 8.186 million, Head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency Pylyp Illienko has said.
"The film 'Cyborgs' has set a new record for national films in terms of the box office over the first weekend – UAH 8,186,701," he wrote on his Facebook page.
The Ukrainian State Film Agency greeted everyone who made such a success possible.
Illienko noted that, for example, another Ukrainian film, "Dzidzio Contrabass," collected UAH 7.65 million in its first weekend.
As reported, Ukrainian film "The Stronghold" collected UAH 8.184 million in the first weekend.
