Snow cuts power in over 530 populated areas in Ukraine
Hundreds of populated localities across Ukraine are without electricity due to snow and high winds, the State Emergency Service said in a statement on Monday.
"The bad weather [sleet, slush build-up, and high wind gusts] seen on December 10-11 activated the protection systems of power-transmission lines and cut power supply to 537 populated localities in 14 regions," the statement said.
