Turchynov, Parubiy, Avakov, Yatsenyuk to be questioned as witnesses in Yanukovych treason trial
The Obolonsky district court of Kyiv, which is hearing the high treason case against the former president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, will summon to preliminary hearing several witnesses already questioned by the prosecutors, including National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, Verkhovna Rada speaker Andriy Parubiy, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and People's Front leader Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
The decision was made on Thursday in favor of the relevant request from the prosecutor, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
