Rada to consider Sobolev's dismissal as Anti-Corruption Committee head on Thursday
The Verkhovna Rada intends to consider the recall of MP Yehor Sobolev of the Samopomich faction from the post of the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Prevention and Combating Corruption at his plenary meeting on Thursday.
Lawmakers included into its Thursday agenda corresponding draft resolution No. 7368, registered by a group of MPs the same morning, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
As reported, on December 6, members of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Prevention and Combating Corruption have recognized the work of the committee's head, Yehor Sobolev (the Samopomich faction), as unsatisfactory.
Sobolev was elected head of the committee on prevention and combating corruption on December 4, 2014. He is an active participant in the protest campaign near the Verkhovna Rada, which began on October 17.
