President does not interfere in work of law enforcement agencies in Saakashvili's case – Iryna Lutsenko
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko's representative in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Lutsenko has said that the president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko does not interfere in the work of law enforcement agencies to investigate the case of the former President of Georgia, leader of the New Forces Movement party Mikheil Saakashvili.
"Petro Oleksiyovych fully relies on the actions and conclusions of the relevant security structures, whose powers are qualified for this violation. The president can not interfere in any matters of the security services. The president is standing over the situation," Lutsenko told reporters in the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday.
Lutsenko also noted that the president is not going to discuss this issue with the faction.
