Russia's return to PACE without fulfillment of obligations contradicts intl law – Ukraine's Foreign Ministry
The return of Russia's delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) without restoring Ukraine's territorial integrity and the withdrawal of Russian troops from Donbas contradicts international law, spokeswoman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa has said.
"The return of the Russian Federation to PACE without the elimination of violations of international rights, the restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity, the withdrawal of Russian troops contradict international law," she wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Betsa informed that the Russian Federation had not fulfilled any resolutions within the framework of the Council of Europe, the UN or the OSCE.
Compromises in the issue of observing international law are unacceptable, she added.
