Kyiv, Vilnius discuss additional arms supply to Ukraine
Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Vitalijus Vaiksnoras have met to discuss deeper cooperation between military schools of Ukraine and Lithuania and an increased number of Lithuanian instructors in Ukrainian army units.
"We are interested in developing cooperation between our educational establishments; teamwork is very important. It is effective. We will always have strategic calmness and will support Ukraine," the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's website quoted Vaiksnoras as saying.
The sides also discussed their joint work within the multinational coordination committee on military cooperation and defense reform.
Technicalities of the supply of another set of Lithuanian weaponry and ammunition to the Ukrainian army were another item on the agenda.
