Europe takes into account Ukraine's opinion - Poroshenko

European leaders take into account the opinion of Ukraine, and it is an independent player, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said.

"It has currently been demonstrated clearly that Ukraine is an independent player whose opinion is taken into account by European leaders," he told journalists at a final press conference after the fifth Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on Friday, November 24.

He said that the joint declaration of the EU Eastern Partnership summit had taken into account Ukraine's proposals.

Poroshenko also said that during his working visit to Brussels on November 23-24, he met with 15 leaders of European countries and discussed the existing problems with them.
